With the end of Summer comes the colder weather and the end of late night al fresco dinners enjoyed whilst wearing just a camisole and a pair of shorts. However, this time of year also brings the immensely exciting wardrobe transition to AW14 clothing! Sure, my birthday may be over and I can barely last ten seconds outdoors before whining about how ''the temperature has dropped'', but the new season lookbooks more than make up for the end of Summer..
I've no doubt there'll be many 'I have to have that' moments as more collections are thrown out in front of us, but for now I'm more than happy to continue scrolling up and down (many, many times) the 57 looks in the new A/W Reiss collection. I've included my two ultimate favourites that scream of danger with more than a touch of sophistication, however that's not to say that there are at least a dozen other looks by Reiss that make me wish there were a few more noughts at the end of my bank balance! Having said that, Reiss has placed themselves comfortably at a level that could reach varying types of style enthusiasts; take the look on the left for example, whilst the leather bustier dress has a much higher price tag ensuring nobody will turn up in the same outfit as you, a more accessible price is also offered with the intricate Semi-Sheer Lace Top meaning it could be a very Happy Birthday present! I'm also aware that since I began my blogging journey, I've gathered some stylish male readers and so I'll let you know now before someone else does that Reiss hasn't forgotten you either with their AW14 Menswear Lookbook.
With regards to Womenswear, I have to say that this lookbook is impressive and I really mean that. From Lace-Trimmed Leather Skirts to the rust coloured Lace Cotton Day Dress, they've made dressing with both elegance and playful arrogance an indisputable art.
