If you've been reading my blog for a while now, you'll know that my eyes are always open to finding new dainty jewellery. My latest find was last week during the John Lewis sale, in the form of an incredibly luxurious-in-appearance gold necklace by the brand Finesse. Although I'm finding it difficult to track down this exact beauty online, there is a less extravagant silver version available online currently reduced to clear!
It was difficult not to launch at purchasing numerous items at once by the brand, however I managed to control myself and keep to investing in this beautifully dainty necklace featuring three golden 'curves' resembling elongated nuggets. I was fortunate enough to wander past the jewellery section when the piece was on sale with 50% off bringing the price down considerably. I've realised lately that although I have a tendency to purchase jewellery, when it comes to necklaces my jewellery collection is predominantly silver. I'm making a concerted effort to now change that and begin bringing it more gold and/or rose gold pieces to my jewellery box.. starting with this beauty!
In fear of causing everyone to sigh with frustration at me from behind their laptop screens, it took me quite sometime to figure out how to wear the necklace once I'd brought it home. After twenty minutes of total confusion, I realised that this elegant Finesse necklace is to be worn as a double-layer design, causing a sort of trio-cluster of golden nuggets to hang below the neck. The twenty minutes of confusion were entirely worth it (albeit unwarranted), as the outcome is utterly beautiful and adds so much to the outfits I've matched it with so far from the comfort of my bedroom! I'm planning on first wearing this beautiful necklace with the L&L green dress (purchased whilst on a short city break to Bruges, Belgium), which I'll be sure to show on my blog in an upcoming outfit post!
Before I love and leave you for tonight, I've got to gush for a second over my cute little Gisela Graham bouquet of artificial white roses (can easily be found on Ebay).. they've taken pride of place on my bedside table!
