There are so many beautiful hotels around the world and it would be impossible to visit them all, but that's not to say I can't at least attempt to cover a decent slice of those that have caught my eye on A Glass Of Ice! On this cosy Sunday afternoon, it dawned on me I could share my latest aesthetically-pleasing hotel finds via a series of occasional blog posts under the umbrella of 'Hotel Wishlist' and there could be no better start than with the incredible Rubens At The Palace hotel. Located on London's Buckingham Palace Road, the majestic 4-star luxury hotel is opposite Buckingham Palace and is just a short walk away from Westminster Abbey. The hotel claims to exhibit a 'traditional elegance' that blends seamlessly with the latest modern amenities and if the TripAdvisor reviews are anything to go by, I'd say that's accurate!

The Rubens boasts 143 deluxe guest rooms, 8 royal rooms, 10 luxurious suites and 2 'beautifully furnished' self-contained apartments. I've shared my favourite photos from their online gallery, although a quick visit to their website will also bring up a couple of videos. Personally, I have always gravitated towards a neutral colour scheme that offers earthy colours and interesting textures, so the Chic Executive Suite (as shown above) is ticking so, so many boxes!
This luxury hotel is part of the Red Carnation Hotel Group and is indisputably sumptuous in appearance, from the intricate floral arrangements to the beautiful bedding and from the impressive exterior to the afternoon tea that awaits inside, The Rubens at the Palace refuses to do anything by halves and by doing so, remains firmly on my hotel wish list!
