As intensely as I want to be painting my nails all kind of bright and beautiful pastel shades, the weather keeps telling me to stop jumping the gun. It may be March, but the cold and rainy scene outdoors says otherwise and I have the goosebumps to prove it! It's not all bad though, the elongated winter season has enabled me to pull out one of my favourite nail polishes, Jessica Nails in Divine Pine and without my nails looking seasonally inappropriate (that's a thing, trust me).
Very, very glossy
Impressively fast drying time
Looking like you could single-handedly take down an army of spiders without flinching
Can appear black in certain lighting
Begins chipping after a few days
As with all nail polishes (particularly dark ones) a base coat is absolutely vital and speaking from experience, I wouldn't leave a shade as dark as this on for too long because of it. With regard to Divine Pine, I really do love this vampy green and I think it works really well with nails that have been allowed to grow out to a longer length. However, if you're looking for a striking green shade but don't want to go as extreme as Divine Pine, then Jessica Nails' A Night At The Opera might be the shade for you!
