My 10 Favourite Workout Songs

I only realised when putting this post together that I don't often mention health/fitness, however considering I'm about to share my 10 Favourite Workout Songs (of right now, that is), now would seem like an appropriate time to confess to being a fitness fanatic!  I've worked out without music and I've worked out with music and I know for certain which I prefer and it doesn't involve self-consciously listening to my heavy breathing and occasional spluttering.  My suggestions are from different genres, years and scales of popularity, because I'm a firm believer that variety is the spice of life when it comes to workout music in order to avoid monotony.  So, if you're looking to add some new tracks to your playlist from various genres (uh, aren't we all?) and ones that are guaranteed to help power you through your next workout, read on!

Wisin Ft. Ricky Martin & Jennifer Lopez - Adrenalina

The Engine Room - A Perfect Lie (Gabriel & Dresden Remix)

Borgore - Afro Blue

Deadmau5 Ft. Melleefresh - Attention Wh**e

I Blame Coco Ft. Robyn - Caesar

Iggy Azalea - Change Your Life

Santogold - Creator

Nero - Crush On You

Box Bottom Ft. Big Babba - Bounce 'n' Boom

Bass Slammers Ft. Sally Jaxx - Dancing With An Angel

Cropped Adidas Sweatshirt
All of my ten suggestions have fast tempos and for an obvious reason - to help get the most out of each and every workout!  A huge part of my music collection fits that brief so cutting it down wasn't easy and will most likely lead to another 'Workout Songs' suggestion post in the future.  Anyway, I'd love to hear some of your favourite songs to workout to and whether any of my recommendations have made it onto your playlist?!

With love,

Gabrielle x

I would get so bored without it. I usually put a combination of fast and then inbetween those...slower songs. My mix is from the 80's, 90's and a little now. That's why I appreciate yours, because I need more NOW music. HAHAHA Love Iggy Azalea.
