Le Bristol Paris is quite possibly the most beautiful hotel featured in my wishlist series to date, thanks to a typically Parisian approach to luxury and a colour scheme that makes me want to redecorate every inch of space around me within a five mile radius. You can read about the hotel's history here, though I can't help but mention a little of the story behind the hotel's birth; Hippolyte Jammet purchased the property in 1923 with an ambition to turn it into the most luxurious hotel in Paris. He named it Le Bristol as a tribute to Bishop Frederick Harvey, 4th Earl of Bristol, an 'eighteenth century traveller famed for his love of comfort and the high standards he demanded'. I'm positively certain any expectations for comfort would be met at this hotel - I mean, just look at the upholstered chairs!
Michelin stars are flying in all directions with regard to dining at Le Bristol Paris and their spa has a focus on serenity and revitalisation - can you feel your shoulders relaxing at the sound of that? Oh and one more final point placing the tiara on the Parisian hotel, it famously hosts Fashion Saturdays; from 2:30pm until 4pm in the Castellane room, signature garments can be admired on models as they mix with guests over high tea. Just promise me one thing.. if you visit Le Bristol Paris, take me with you?
