Kissed by Mii: Gradual Tan

Kissed by Mii Gradual TanIt's all a little back to front at the moment; I visited Barcelona back in October and found myself with a tan throughout the early months of winter, yet here I am as pale as snow at the height of summer!  I've very kindly been invited to stay in Italy next week for a few days courtesy of UNA Hotels and as excited as I may be, I'm also painfully aware of how I may well resemble a ghost as I walk through the streets of Rome and as a result, have spent the past few days actively planning a wardrobe that doesn't highlight how sun-deprived I am.  Thankfully, Kissed by Mii have come to the rescue by generously sending the Daily Boost Body Cream c/o and Daily Boost Face Cream c/o my way and consequently providing me with a 'tanning lifebuoy'!

Kissed by Mii Gradual TanBefore even receiving the products, I immediately had high expectations thanks to the Mii Cosmetics range.  To cut to the point, I'm impressed and it comes as no surprise considering Kissed by Mii holds hands with some of my other favourite names at Gerrard International, including Jessica Nails and of course, Mii Cosmetics.  The packaging is beautifully done with a blend of aqua and sunshine shades and the tubes themselves are just as simplistically chic as I was anticipating.

From the box to the blog: 'With a fresh marine scent, this luxurious cream blends marine extracts for deep skin nourishment - red seaweed, rich in calcium and magnesium, protects and repairs skin; green algae, rich protein, maintains skin's velvety softness and elasticity, while coral seaweed rebalances vital minerals to beautifully condition'

I'm yet to use the Daily Boost Face Cream, however if it's anything like the Daily Boost Body Cream*, it has every chance of impressing.  I've been using the cream on my stomach area to test it out first and have found it has a luxurious smell to it which I can't quite put my finger on, but either way it doesn't deserve to be boxed with the other naughty products that I hear time and time again leaving users with nasty smells up their noses!  Just as Kissed by Mii claims, the body cream is streak-free and super-hydrating (which was a very pleasant surprise considering this was my first dance with a gradual tanning product) whilst 'moisturising with just a hint of colour'.  I'm hoping to pluck up the courage to use the Face Cream soon, though for now I'm really enjoying applying the body cream to my stomach and gradually watching my body less resemble Neapolitan ice cream!

  4. Haha I know all too well the awkward transition from being pale for a few weeks to being tan after a few trips to the beach/pool. This sounds like it'd definitely make that transition so easy! Can't wait to see your photos from Italy! That sounds like an awesome opportunity!

  7. I'm such a sucker for packaging too (I guess that comes with being a graphic designer, ha) and I really love the colors they used on the boxes for these products! I'm not much of a tanner, but I like the idea of a gradual tan. I hope you have so much fun in Italy, I'm so jealous! Eat lots of tasty pasta and gelato! :)

I have very delicate skin, so only the reviews from people as picky as me can get me to try a new product. I love looking tanned, but since I'm careful with creams I also have to be with the sun. This sounds perfect and I'm already checking if they sell in Mexico.
