I'm shameless when it comes to magazines, I want to read them ALL and not just so I can display and admire them in my magazine-holders afterwards - anyone else do that? So, it's with great pleasure I can say you'll be hearing a fair amount from me about the well-known website Magazine.co.uk over upcoming months thanks to my collaboration with them. I just love magazines; I love the articles, suggestions, imagery and even the glossy advertisements! Just like many of my favourite blogs, magazines bring together the 'cream of the crop' and there's no greater example of that than Elle Magazine. When very generously asked which annual magazine subscriptions I'd like to read and write about over on The Hub (Magazine.co.uk's destination for an eclectic mix of magazine reviews), I selected Elle Magazine, Elle Decor and Harpers Bazaar. Seriously, I don't care if the rain is pouring down on me. I love each of these magazines so much that I'm prepared to brazenly read them cover-to-cover in the pouring rain at the end of my garden just to express my love for them (though please don't ask me to).

I'm hugely looking forward to immersing myself in the inspirational pages of Elle Decor, as although I rarely mention it on A Glass Of Ice, I adore reading/brainstorming interior design features/trends and uh, forever crossing my fingers for the word 'metallic' to be brought up for discussion because nearly every home accessory I own is exactly that. The quantity of content by Elle Decor that encourages daydreams is unreal, their Twitter alone is the biggest distraction known to mankind.
Both Elle Magazine and Harpers Bazaar have been my favourite magazines to read for nearly three years now. They combine aspirational features with entirely relatable topics, making them the perfect glossy reads for exciting journeys/trips and lazy Sunday mornings in bed alike. What I love most about each publication is how they interview/mention well-known figures and yet show just as much love for the up-and-coming and emerging talents/brands, so you know who to watch. If you ask me, they strike the perfect balance.
Needless to say, I'm thrilled to be working with Magazine.co.uk, I'm well and truly ready to be inspired! Be sure to keep up with my upcoming three articles on The Hub by Magazine.co.uk - my first one will be discussing the A/W 2015/16 trend of blouses (better yet if you've already read Elle Magazine's original blouses trend alert in their September issue). In the meantime, do take a look at the magazines available (all with incredible discounts that would make fabulous gifts) and let me know which subscriptions you have your eye on! Right, time to head outside in my Luxemme two-piece for some intense magazine-reading, now where did I put my umbrella..
