Veet Natural Inspirations: EasyWax Electrical Roll-On Kit

Veet Natural Inspirations EasyWax Electrical Roll-On KitFinally, finally I've found a hair removal technique for my legs that doesn't make me want to abandon proceedings altogether.. which is probably a good thing or else I'd have to wear a jumpsuit for the rest of my life.  Shaving has always received a 'thumbs down' from me and removal creams seemed to take an eternity.  Quite frankly, if I'm going to spend an eternity with cream, let it be whipped cream and let it be floating on top of hot chocolate.  Anyway, I eventually resorted to having my legs regularly professionally waxed and have ever since shuddered each time I've had to face the ridiculous price for doing so.  Thankfully, Veet have come to the rescue by sending their Natural Inspirations EasyWax Electrical Roll-on Kit c/o my way!  The question is, how does this at-home kit compare to visiting a salon/spa?
Veet Natural Inspirations EasyWax Electrical Roll-On Kit

The assembly of the electrical roll-on kit couldn't be easier.  It's a simple case of inserting the refill into the case, plugging it in and waiting a short while for the wax (with 90% ingredients from natural origin) to heat up.  20 minutes later and it's ready - not bad considering I used to drive for that length of time to reach my favourite salon!  I'll admit, with my track record of burning myself on pretty much everything possible, I was fully anticipating some sort of horrific accident.. but it was quite the opposite thanks to the applicator keeping the wax at just the right temperature.  Also, the rolling motion was smooth, faultless and just as Veet claims, easy!           Veet Natural Inspirations EasyWax Electrical Roll-On Kit
Veet Natural Inspirations EasyWax Electrical Roll-On Kit

I'll admit to being meticulous when it comes to hair removal (it's very much a case of 'Leave No Hair Behind') and so having the opportunity to be painstakingly fastidious about the process was great and especially when the wax smelt so good!  There really is a definite sweet smell to it which somehow makes the prospect of tearing hairs out from your legs that little bit less gruelling.  Speaking of which, I'm hugely impressed with the outcome.  It took a couple of attempts to learn how quickly I needed to be ripping off the fabric strips, however once mastered, I had finished both legs within approximately 10-15 minutes.  My skin was noticeably smoother afterwards which can be put down to both the likely outcome of waxing, as well as due to the formula being made with resin derived from pine trees and shea butter of natural origin.

After wiping over my legs with the Veet Perfect Finish Wipes provided (which, by the way, smell heavenly) and marvelling over how they actually worked at removing the remaining excess wax, I made a decision.  The 50ml roll-on pink wax refill and remaining fabric strips from the 12 included were going to last a while, however after that I would certainly be heading out to stock up on supplies.

The biggest surprise about the Natural Inspirations EasyWax Electrical Roll-on was how genuinely enjoyable it was to use.  I'm all for therapeutic beauty/skincare regimes and so this was a brilliant discovery after enduring countless painful waxes and unpleasant creams over the years.  Oh and if, like me, you suffer from the terrible fate known as Knobbly Knee-itus (it's a thing, trust me), this is definitely the kinder alternative to razors or sharp plastic applicators.  Yep, Veet has saved the day!

With love,

Gabrielle x
