Label.m Hair Perfume

Label.m Hair Perfume Review
A quick browse through my blog's archive will reveal I'm no stranger to professional haircare brand Label.m.  A few months ago as I shared my tips for growing longer and healthier hair, I confessed to being a loyal fan of the Label.m Protein Spray.  Then, more recently I was sent the Label.m Honey & Oat Mask to review on A Glass Of Ice (spoiler alert: it's incredible and smells divine)!  After being so impressed by their products, I've added another item from their range to my collection and this time it's a little more unusual.  In fact, it's something I wasn't even aware existed until now - Hair Perfume!

Label.m Hair Perfume Review
After opening the metallic presentation box, the perfume itself is in the style of other products by Label.m; modern, minimalistic and chic.  Though just in case you'd forgotten how you'd wonderfully purchased perfume for your hair, the glass bottle has a perfectly positioned black bow wrapped around the lid.  It's pretty much the ultimate 'princess treatment' for your locks.  The amount of perfume provided in comparison to the price tag is actually very reasonable, which I'm sure we can all agree is rarely the case for most body fragrances/perfumes!

Label.m Hair Perfume Review

So the question is, how does it smell?  Well, Label.m states it comprises 'sparkling citrus blossom and white florals combined with rich woods'.  In short, it's one hell of an elegant scent.  My concern was that I'd walk around smelling like a sweet shop, however I was pleasantly surprised to find quite the opposite; it exudes a definite sophisticated gentleness.  In my experience, I found the scent was best applied by spraying it into the air and swishing my hair into it before 'ruffling' my fingers through the length of the strands.

Although this product is predominantly a perfume for the hair, it can also be worn as a body fragrance as well. Personally, I like this idea as otherwise you run the risk of clashing two scents at any given time.  I already have an unhealthily large collection of perfumes to my name, however I feel no guilt on this front for as I mentioned earlier, it's my first hair perfume!
Label.m Hair Perfume Review
I have Toni & Guy to thank for introducing me to the brand after entrusting them to look after my hair at one of their salons many years ago and staying with them forevermore.  It's safe to say Label.m has impressed me yet again! Though, this shouldn't really come as a surprise considering they're the official haircare product of London Fashion Week. Anyway, I've well and truly been converted to Hair Perfume and so from now on, if you happen to walk through clouds of 'sparkling citrus blossom' and 'white florals with rich woods', you'll know I'm nearby!

On a different note, earlier this month I've been featured in a blog called Violet Roots and I've been asked to recommend some blogs, I only chose four and, you guessed it, A Glass of Ice was one of them! ;) Here's the link to that post and the explanation of why I recommend your blog: http://www.violetroots.com/vrxlove-style-by-deb/ I hope you like it!

I've always in general worry about walking around smelling like a candy shop, so this smelling like elegance is much of a relief. I'm not too sure if Label.M is the only brand doing hair perfumes but I'd definitely try it out one day!

  77. I've heard of hair perfumes before but to be honest it's a concept that has (embarrassingly) been rather confusing to me. I've never really seen the point because, like you mentioned it would clash with perfume you spritz on your body. BUT if you can use it on your body, then... I'm an idiot LOL!

  79. What a nice bottle! I'm wondering, it's possible to find products of this brand in Lithuania? And one more question, Gabrielle. What camera and lens do you use for your pictures? Because it's so bright and HQ...

  83. This sounds like a lovely scent! I didn't know that hair perfume products existed but I'm intrigued. I think it's an added bonus that it can be used as a body spray too since you wouldn't want to walk around smelling like a perfume shop with a bunch of clashing smells on.

  87. I love the idea of hair perfume, and that it has protein. I use a rosemary and rose spritz in my hair and love it. What gorgeous photos Gabrielle, and definitely gives a luxe aesthetic. Have a marvellous weekend! xx/Madison
