A quick browse through my blog's archive will reveal I'm no stranger to professional haircare brand Label.m. A few months ago as I shared my tips for growing longer and healthier hair, I confessed to being a loyal fan of the Label.m Protein Spray. Then, more recently I was sent the Label.m Honey & Oat Mask to review on A Glass Of Ice (spoiler alert: it's incredible and smells divine)! After being so impressed by their products, I've added another item from their range to my collection and this time it's a little more unusual. In fact, it's something I wasn't even aware existed until now - Hair Perfume!
So the question is, how does it smell? Well, Label.m states it comprises 'sparkling citrus blossom and white florals combined with rich woods'. In short, it's one hell of an elegant scent. My concern was that I'd walk around smelling like a sweet shop, however I was pleasantly surprised to find quite the opposite; it exudes a definite sophisticated gentleness. In my experience, I found the scent was best applied by spraying it into the air and swishing my hair into it before 'ruffling' my fingers through the length of the strands.
Although this product is predominantly a perfume for the hair, it can also be worn as a body fragrance as well. Personally, I like this idea as otherwise you run the risk of clashing two scents at any given time. I already have an unhealthily large collection of perfumes to my name, however I feel no guilt on this front for as I mentioned earlier, it's my first hair perfume!
I have Toni & Guy to thank for introducing me to the brand after entrusting them to look after my hair at one of their salons many years ago and staying with them forevermore. It's safe to say Label.m has impressed me yet again! Though, this shouldn't really come as a surprise considering they're the official haircare product of London Fashion Week. Anyway, I've well and truly been converted to Hair Perfume and so from now on, if you happen to walk through clouds of 'sparkling citrus blossom' and 'white florals with rich woods', you'll know I'm nearby!
