In fear of sounding awfully British, the weather has been on my mind lately. Irritation at not being able to wear lipgloss for a few months aside, I've been putting together my Autumn/Winter wardrobe! All wind-protectors must be mine and I need mittens goddammit, mittens! Seriously though, I've come to really enjoy shopping for the colder seasons as they require frequent trips to Zara to check out their regularly updated collections. More than anything, I adore their coats and jackets - which is where this Quilted Parka comes on the scene. One of my various outerwear purchases of late is this warm navy blue coat with faux fur hood...
At this time of year, many outfits go hours without seeing the light of day, it's all about the outerwear. With this in mind, I've been expanding my collection of warm but stylish coats/jackets to avoid looking as though I exist in one outfit alone for the best part of half a year; and you won't catch me complaining about needing to do so! I adore the contrasting bright orange lining of this jacket, as well as the flattering length - I've figured out now that the only way to remain warm come the temperature drop is to keep your hips and upper-thighs covered. Done and done!
