The last time I found myself in Cheltenham was on my 22nd birthday a few months ago, when I had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Queens Hotel (MGallery Collection). I can't tell you how much I enjoyed lounging around and eating whatever my heart desired, though ever since then I've found myself wishing I'd made more time to explore the area. The large spa town has a huge amount to offer... having said that, I can't help but feel as though if I were to visit No. 131, the same would most likely happen again! With an attractive restaurant that prides itself on serving British food wherever possible and bedrooms that 'blend classic comforts with modern essentials', there's every chance I'd bounce between delicious food and luxurious linens again!
The most attractive aspect of No. 131 is undoubtedly the intentional meeting of classic design and modern amenities. I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but it's a design scheme I feel as though I've both encountered and admired before - and nearly always in spa towns. One of these days I'll figure out what it is that connects them aesthetically, though for now I'm content in appreciating the stylish yet inviting layout of the eleventh addition to my Hotel Wishlist - dreamy!
