I'm no stranger to donating clothes to charity, having doing so regularly while growing up - and it's refreshing to discover through blogging that many, many others have been doing the same. With fashion moving at such a fast pace, it's comforting to know the clothes you're quickly 'done' with are going to good homes! After selecting a few pieces to donate (more on that later), I opted for an all-black look from Boohoo featuring versatile pieces that work just as well together, as they could separately. I'm thrilled to have jumped on board the sock-boots bandwagon, and the black trench coat immediately won a special place in my heart, thanks to being a piece I hadn't realised I was missing until I was wearing it!

So, in the theme of both decluttering and doing good, what have I donated? On this occasion, I've opted for Autumnal knits and cosy nightwear to remain relevant to the season. One Anthroplogie jumper, two Zara longline knits and one black jersey night-tunic I'd bought in France a couple of years back and never worn. It was a bit of an impulse buy after stumbling across a boutique that favoured air conditioning (on a hot day) and lavender scents - consider me sold!
Psst! Boohoo are collaborating with TRAID, a 'fashion reuse charity' working to tackle the negative environmental and social justice impacts of fashion by stopping unwanted clothes from being thrown away. You can donate your old clothes to TRAID by dropping them off at any of their 11 charity shops and/or 1300 clothes reuse banks. Better yet, you can book a free home collection - book online via their website.
