For the past few weeks, I've been aware of an upcoming brand launch - and a rather exciting one at that. Since this time last year, a London-based team has been hard at work creating and perfecting an elegant brand of retro-style watches, a journey that reaches an important milestone tomorrow, at which point they'll be launching their Kickstarter campaign! With total pleasure, I can say I've become part of their journey - cheering them on from the sidelines - as the brand has very kindly sent one of their first watches my way to share with you. Introducing... Minute & Azimut!

As far as special occasions are concerned, the summertime seems to host the majority of them. It's during the warmer months of the year that I find myself constantly searching for colourful day dresses, lightweight (and light coloured) outerwear and heels that won't disappear into grass fields! Weddings, parties, dinners, events - each one prompts the search for a new, striking yet versatile outfit. Funnily enough, just as wedding invitations began arriving in the post, this ever-so-pretty duo by Yumi entered my life...

I'd been hearing about how wonderful The Chelsea Flower Show was for quite a few years and so when the opportunity arose to pop along this year, I was both curious and excited! It was of particular interest as last year I visited the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and so was keen to see how the two compared. So, yesterday afternoon I set off under cloudy skies to Chelsea, and joined the flocks of people travelling in to the show, each ready to immerse themselves in a sea of flowers...

Unintentionally, I can see my life becoming more heavily inspired by nature than ever before. It creeps its way in through garden walks, glasshouses filled with tropical plants, sugar crafted flowers on top of cakes and in this instance, a portfolio bag by Cabuxa titled 'The Garden of the Dreams'. As you may have cottoned on by now, I'm more than happy to dive into an abundance of green leaves and flowers. So, with this in mind, I set off to one of my favourite glasshouses in the South to introduce this busy portfolio bag to the world of humidifiers and colourful orchids...

After a quaint and cosy mid-week stay at Colwall Park Hotel last week, the long and winding roads were calling for an afternoon with the windows down. Surprisingly, I've never before visited the picturesque area, and so the journey was packed full with 'oohs' and 'aahs'. Colwall is a village on the west outskirts of the Malvern Hills and though I may not know what it looks like through a downpour, I can certainly vouch for its beauty on a warm, sunny day! Juice stations and bluebell fields were on the cards before reaching Snowshill Manor, a Cotswold manor full with treasures collected over a lifetime by Charles Wade...

One of my favourite things to do during the warmer months is wander through well-kept gardens; guided paths that lead you through tunnels of flowers and insects at play. Something I've grown to love about England - and admittedly become pretty attached to - is the easily accessible nature. You're never far from a colourful haven! On this occasion I didn't have to travel far at all to find myself immersed in rhododendrons - the perfect place to wear this gorgeous Papagayo Shirt Dress by Joe Browns.

If you follow me on Twitter, you'll know that a couple of weeks ago I (finally) got around to seeing Mrs Henderson Presents at the West End's Noël Coward Theatre. Lately I've been finding myself returning time and time again to murder mystery plays, and so when a friend invited me to indulge in this 'hilarious musical', I figured it was the perfect opportunity to try something a little different. Set in London, 1937, the story revolves around a recently widowed woman looking for a way to spend both her time and money. Her search leads her to the Windmill Theatre, but with war looming more is needed to boost morale and box office and well... ''for the show to go on, the clothes must come off!''

So, yesterday I headed off in the direction of Malvern for an impromptu break. Having now returned, I can confirm that rest and relaxation was definitely on the cards, along with an eyebrow-raising amount of sweet food. Oops. I'll be the first to admit my nutrition has never exactly been 100% 'clean', however as you may well know by now, I'm a bit of a fitness-fanatic! The deeper I delve into the world of fitness, the more tips and techniques I'm discovering and the more inspiration I'm stumbling across - seriously, Instagram in particular is such a massive source of motivation with regard to fitness accounts. Personally speaking, one of the greatest motivators for me is activewear; both how it looks and how it feels. With this in mind, say hello to LA-inspired Pink Soda Sport, a collection bursting with lifestyle and fitness essentials that let you 'run, spin and stretch in style'...

Ordinarily, my Sunday nights involve cosy loungewear and a catch up session with whatever series I'm knee-deep in by that time. However, this Sunday went in a slightly more dignified direction thanks to House of Fraser! As the official sponsors of this year's BAFTA event, they've been celebrating in various ways, and one of which involves my favourite thing to do - getting dressed up! You'll probably have learned by now how I go pretty much everywhere in heels, and so it's safe to say I was very much on board with the concept of wearing an embellished gown and Lancôme makeup while raising a glass (or two) of champagne!

One of the most relaxing pastimes has to be flipping through a magazine; it requires total concentration and the absence of twenty other tabs inevitably opened at the top of the screen! Over the past half year, Magazine.co.uk have helped me to find a balance between my love of the online world (says the blogger, oh what a surprise) and reading printed words - in my opinion, the two can live in harmony. They each offer different perspectives and encourage different approaches to life - one of speed and the other less so. Once you've tired of one pace, the other comes to the rescue!

Despite my undying love for flowers, it's not often I go out of my way to arrange them in vases and bring them indoors (or in this case take them out onto the patio). However, having started this new month with the resolution of spending even more time surrounded by flowers, I'm looking at more and more ways of introducing nature's vibrant colours into my life. With perfect timing, a gorgeous Pink 'Robina' Lily Bouquet c/o from OK Bouquet arrived at my front door, an elegant bouquet bursting with highly-scented raspberry pink shades, ready and waiting to simply be unwrapped and displayed!

It has genuinely felt like spring these past few days thanks to the beautiful weather, which means I can finally stop looking as though I spend my life lurking in basements - yay! This sunny start to the new month has been all kinds of encouraging, and though it may not quite indicate the start of maxi dresses and sandals, it certainly holds up the green flag to colourful lingerie. If you've been reading my blog for a while now, you'll know I'm a massive fan of lingerie and loungewear/nightwear; in fact, I probably place more emphasis on the colour coordination of my undies drawer than my wardrobe (it's sad, but true). So, with this in mind, the bright and beautiful introduction to Passionata's cheerful spring theme 'Arty Passion' has put me in one hell of a good mood!
