5 Ways To Dress 'Loud' When You're Feeling Quiet

Blue and white pretty gingham bowSometimes, we feel quiet.  It's natural.  It can be because we're feeling under the weather, hit the gym (or the drinks) too hard the night before, feeling anxious, have things on our mind - the list goes on and on.  But the question is, how to dress 'loud' when you're feeling unnaturally quiet?  I spent last week shaking off that feeling and as a result, came up with a few ideas...

  17. Usually when I feel quiet, I don't want to be loud - I'd rather stay shy and quiet all the way. However when I do want to be loud and stand out, I'll go all out - red lipstick, prints, colour, all that! These tips are really interesting though, ruffles are definitely a way to make your outfit stand out and show that you're still there even though you're being quiet!

  36. This is such a great post and you're right, clothes create a statement without you having to say a thing. Often when I'm feeling under the weather. If you're unwell for example, try playing around with warm colours, pink is a great one as it helps to warm up your overall appearance.

Some lovely ideas and you're right about the high heels, they ooph up any look no matter how you're feeling ;)

  53. I so loved that quote about style! I have to say I used to dress 'loud' so much more when I was younger but I think my style now is at a point where I just can't go that loud because it doesn't feel right, if that makes sense? If I do feel like being a little bolder though I love a strong lipstick or heels.
