YSL Black Opium Floral Shock x Debenhams Beauty

YSL Black Opium Floral Shock 50mlI'd literally just finished the last bottle of my winter signature-scent, when Debenhams reminded me we're now halfway through Spring - it's time to look for a new fragrance!  Thanks to Debenhams, I've tried - and fallen head over heels in love with - YSL's new release, Black Opium Floral Shock c/o.  The scent description includes black coffee shaken with bold citrus notes and a 'cool mysterious note' of white musk.  It's undeniably sexy, and the perfect twist on a feminine fragrance - ideal for those of us who want to embrace Spring without compromising our love for edgy, powerful scents.
Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Floral Shock Review

YSL Black Opium Floral Shock Beauty Blog ReviewSo, to celebrate the (literally) glittering new release, I've been challenged to think of a moment when I've felt the most exhilarated. My answer?  The moment I decided to start a business - a decision I  came to earlier this year after many years of wanting to do so!  I've got a very, very long road ahead of me before launching and one full of learning curves, yet I couldn't be more excited.  Exhilarated, even!
Black Opium Floral Shock YSL 50ml ReviewI absolutely can't get enough of the seductive new fragrance, and so if you catch a whiff of YSL's Black Opium Floral Shock - you'll know I'm (possibly) nearby!  Have you tried this fragrance yet?  Also, how gorgeous is this glittering pink twist on the classic Black Opium bottle?!

With love,

Gabrielle x

  1. Coincidentally, I've been using a sample of Black Opium all week! It smells soooooo good. I think that's an accurate description: springy but still edgy.

  5. Beautiful presentation and photographs. I've heard great things of Black Opium but I haven't tried it yet. I'm sure that it is a lovely perfume.

Starting a business is a lot of work, but I'm absolutely certain it is worth it. In the end, hard work pays off, one way or another. Working for ourselves is so rewarding. Being in charge of our own work life is certainly worth the effort....

    Have a lovely weekend!

  6. That perfume sounds so lovely though! And love that new twist on the bottle, it's normally pretty as it is but love that glittery twist.

  9. This fragrance sounds really interesting, considering that the original Black Opium (which is my favourite perfume ever) is more of a winter fragrance. I'll have to go to Debenhams and see what this new one smells like! Also, starting your own business must be so exciting indeed, I wish your the best of luck with this project!
