Darphin: Living Parisian

Darphin UK Blogger CollaborationThere is literally everything to love about summer, well, except for how it seems to lure me into ditching my skincare regime. Time. And. Time. Again.  I vaguely remember confessing to the same thing last year, though clearly haven't changed my ways since.  Oops.  Thankfully, Parisian skincare brand Darphin (founded in 1958) have swept in and saved the day by introducing me to a few of their bestsellers, including the popular Hydraskin Light Gel Cream, and Revitalizing Oil - my personal favourite!  The brand prides themselves on producing products that are the perfect blend of 'pleasure plus performance', and each product is made with precious botanicals and natural ingredients.  So, if you're all about that natural glow, and also on a (kind of intense) lifelong mission for calm, smooth skin, read on...
Darphin Chamomile Aromatic Care Review
Darphin Chamomile Aromatic Care c/o - five drops each night, to the face and neck.  With the neck and hands often going neglected, I've started paying the areas much more attention, and so needless to say this little beauty is very welcome.  At first glance, the bottle is worryingly small, but rest assured a little goes a long way.  What's included?  Chamomile, Sandalwood, Sage and Lavender Essential Oils.
Travel Photography Parisian Pillars in UK
Darphin The Revitalizing Oil c/o - my absolute favourite out of the five bestsellers, hands down!  I've been looking for a body oil that would both soften the skin, and give a gorgeous summertime glow.  What I hadn't anticipated, was one that could also be applied to the face, and leave a dreamy lingering floral, warm and borderline-sexy fragrance.  Also, not gonna lie, I'm kind of loving how it makes blonde hairs glisten as though you've just spent a fortnight in the South of France.  Oh, and as a side note, if you have fairly poor circulation, I've found using a body oil can help a lot and pretty much instantly, through both massage and the product's nourishing qualities.  If you're curious about the French skincare brand, this is the perfect place to start!

Darphin The Revitalizing Oil Blog Review
Darphin The Revitalizing Oil Blog ReviewDarphin Aromatic Cleansing Balm With Rosewood c/o - I'm not completely sold on the scent, however you won't catch me complaining about the results.  The balm turns into a non-oily milk-like texture when combined with water, and totally lives up to its claims of leaving skin feeling smooth and supple.  I've only been using the balm to target one specific problem area of my face - either sides of the nose - and so far, so good!  Is it a miracle product?  No.  But it's an effective indulgence, for sure.

Darphin Hydraskin Intensive Skin-Hydrating Serum c/o - Well, I'm 100% unsurprised Darphin's Intensive Skin-Hydrating Serum is so popular.  The price is a little steep if you have an extensive skincare regime, however I reckon it's worth it.  Whenever I've had my skin analysed, I always receive the same feedback - my skin is dehydrated.  This serum features 'lush botanicals and anti-oxidants' that help to enhance the skin's natural ability to retain moisture.  And while I've heard that claim before, in this case the serum actually delivers.  Darphin, my hydrated skin thanks you...

Darphin Hydraskin Light Replenishing Moisture Cream c/o - I've only been using Darphin's Moisture Cream for a week and a half now, and so I'm still sitting on the fence.  It has definite qualities, but I've not yet been blown away - still holding out for that ultra-healthy glow!  I'll admit, it's an enjoyable process in the meantime - anyone else finding the glass jar adorable?  But anyway, if you're curious about this cream, drop me a message a week or two from now and I'll be happy to share my thoughts further down the line!

Darphin Beauty Bestsellers Review 2017
As you'll most likely have noticed, I'm smitten with the Parisian skincare brand!  I've found with such pale skin the slightest signs of dehydration and/or blemishes are immediately visible, and so these feel-good and deeply nourishing products (and I mean that) have been a game-changer.  Thanks to #LivingParisian with Darphin, I'm definitely closer to the hydrated, glowing skin I've spent so long dreaming about!

  5. If those bottle & jar are anything to go by, that skincare must be amazing! It just looks so. damn. luxe.
Glad it seems to be pushing you into the right direction in terms of summer skincare. Summer just makes everything so lazy. But in the best of ways. Great review!

  10. I've never used Darphin before the Revitalising Oil sounds like a fantastic product. I'm always seeking that nourished, sunkissed glow without making me too oily and know I need to incorporate more oils into my skin care.

  16. I haven't heard of Darphin before however I'm taken with their bottles straight away, you can tell that the product contains quality just at first glance.

I do like a luxury body oil, and one that soaks into the skin nicely without being 'too' overbearing. Reading on your thoughts here I think the body oil is the product winner from the range you've reviewed, it sounds like a very high quality product.

Thanks for sharing and you look so beautiful, love the dainty rings and your gorgeous nail colour!

Either way, I've always heard good things and I definitely need to give them a go! 57. I've heard a lot about Darphin but I don't think I've ever actually used any of their products. It's not in most department stores in Australia so I don't think we see it around all that much, but I have heard good things. Their cleansing balm in particular sounds good as I love a good cleansing balm and always enjoy trying new ones.
