Seafolly tropical one piece blogger styleI've always had a soft spot for bright and playful prints, and never more so than during the summer (for obvious reasons).  So, last month's stay in the South of France presented the perfect opportunity to whip out one of my favourite Seafolly swimsuits! After an embarrassingly long time spent in my wardrobe with the tags still attached, I was finally in a climate warm enough to wear it.  Phew.  The brand's sporty styles have always had a hold on me, so combine a zip-up front with an irresistible tropical print and I'm in heaven.  Anyway, while padding around the pool in neck-to-hip toucans and palm leaves, I wondered about the ways in which vibrant, tropical colours and prints could be introduced poolside a little more subtly...

Seafolly swimwear blogger in South of FranceLooking at the above edit, a couple of my favourites include the Triangl bikini (and so the love affair continues with their gorgeous designs), and embellished poolside platforms by Dolce & Gabbana.  Sadly, I didn't act on my friend's book request quickly enough and so missed the opportunity to read 'Invincible Summer' poolside, though I suppose it can now be a spa-side read!

Anyway, the above handful of items could either be used as standalone tropical hints, or equally solitary factors in a whole party of colour!  Personally, I tend to opt for a balance between the two; intense botanical prints with toned-down accessories, or simplistic neutrals paired with OTT tropical add-ons.  Although, uh, in this instance I'm just one girl in a one-piece...
