Celery Appetizer
First up, celery sticks filled with Primula Original Cheese Spread. This is undoubtedly the easiest appetizer I've ever tried and one of my long-term favourites thanks to the recipe's simplicity! For added flavour and to make the cheese look a little more appealing, sprinkle some paprika on top. The only chance of slipping up here is by not using a ruler to ensure each celery stick is of the same length.
Tomato Appetizer
Bruschetta Appetizer
Olive Appetizer
I love creating appetizers thanks to how experimental you can be - there's very little chance to get it wrong! The only thing to keep in mind is size; 1-2 bites (3 at most) works best per appetizer. Anyway, looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these recipes - and do let me know if you have longterm fave appetizer of your own?!
With love,
Gabrielle x
How come you don't like olives? I think they are the most delicious! haha! Love these easy appetizer recipes. Really, these are life savers for any hostess (or guest). :)

Ha! Count me as one of those crazy olive lovers! I've been a fan since I was a kid. Anyway, these recipes are a really good idea! They look yummy and no stress/easy. We actually have to bring some food to a Christmas party tomorrow and this reminds me that I need to figure out what we are going to make....
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

Thanks for this! Now I know what dish to bring along at the next friendly gathering. Although not as photogenic, I really like toasting slices of a baguette & adding gouda, cucumber slice & honey drizzled on top. :]

ReplyDeleteI hate it when I get asked to bring a plate along because I never know what to bring. I feel like I come up with amazing dishes and I think they taste great but I get so annoyed that no one gives me feedback! Praise me people! I put a lot of effort ;o)

yummy, yummy, yummy! Those appetizers sure look delicious...and they are very pleasing to the eye as well. I think visuals are so important when it comes to food, even more when we want to get people to eat our little creations- sometimes presentation is everything!
ReplyDeleteI must say these party appetizers are like art works in themselves. Beautiful presentation and photos as well. I think I will steal your ideas....especially when it comes to that tomato appetizer...how cute is that? It is great that all of these require no cooking, so we can even improvise them on short notice.

I love your sense of humor Gaby "...will give you more time to curl your hair..."
ReplyDeleteGaby, your recipes are super easy and look delicious. I will definitely make them for our New Year's Eve because for Christmas I already have a very traditional menu. I think for NYE it will be perfect all the more, as we avoid eating too heavy.
Dear, I have appetizer recipes but they are not as fast and eye-catching as yours.
Here are a few: mousse of tuna, blini with salmon, terrine avocado grapefruit and endives, Spanish tortilla, foie Gras gingerbread.
Thank you for sharing your recipes with us. Have a lovely week end :)
Finally, I made these appetizers today, the sun shines in Geneva so we will picnic (I had printed the recipes, but I did not prepare them for NYE because we celebrated in a hotel).
DeleteYou know, it's always a pleasure to come see your cooking, travel diary adventures despite my hectic life and the lack of time...
It's so lovely to hear you made these appetizers - I hope you love them, and how great to know that when it's cold in England, it's warm enough in Geneva for you to have a picnic! Enjoy!
