Boots - Lost Ink Alice Pom Pom Ankle Boots | Bag - Valentino Lock Medium
Scarf - Zara | Watch - Daniel Wellington Classic Back Reading
Ear Cuffs - ASOS | Tights - Pretty Polly
The shorter length of this dress would go perfectly with OTK boots, but since feeding my Lost Ink obsession last week with a shoe haul, I couldn't resist whipping out these pom pom beauties for the first time! Whether we realise it or not, the majority of our shoe wardrobes can be described as neutrals, but in the winter the real fun comes in finding dark boots that still manage to stand out. Personally, I'm all for skyscraper heels and embellishments such as laces, cut-outs and pom poms.
Rediscovering this chunky knit scarf has reminded me of how uhh-mazing extra-long scarves can be in balancing outfits, especially those that feature unusual dimensions - like the drop 'waist' of this dress. Then, all that remains is to continue accessorising with standout neutral gems such as a black, navy or grey bag and decide whether you want your jewellery to complement or steal the show. As I've said a million times, I adore dainty jewellery and so opted for a multi-band ring and teeny-tiny ear cuffs on just one ear.
With love,
Gabrielle x

I stick to black, white and grey and usually add red for a pop of color. Navy isnt my favorite. The dress is very pretty, at first I thought it was a two-piece.

Last year I started embracing neutrals. I've always been a girl that loves vivid colours, however with years I discovered that neutrals can have a special (almost magical) elegance to them, that easily becomes timeless...Neutrals are our best friends when it comes to creating those effortless chic outfits.
ReplyDeleteI do agree about winter shoes...most of them are either black or brown, so a bit of embellishment goes a long way. Heels are always sexy and feminine...Details like embroidery, pom poms, bows etc...can make a lot of difference.
you look stunning in this feminine and classy look! The location is dreamy as well. Who doesn't like plants? A bit of green can make our day.
Amazing photos! I love your look from head to toe :) It's simply chic

I simply adore everything about this outfit! First off, navy looks amazing on you and just brightens your skin and hair so beautifully! That said, the dress is such a lovely, unique piece; I love the skirted contrast, which gives a touch of prettiness to the look. I'm also swooning over those boots, too! Thanks for sharing, beautiful, and I hope you're having the most amazing start to your week!
