Aw unfortunately I live in America so it's not as easy to just visit an extravagant castle on a 3 day weekend, hehe. We don't have as grand of castles where I live. But I appreciate the list! It's easy to read.

I wish I could attend and partake in all of these suggestions you've shared here, I'm sure they're all so fun and beautiful! It's actually a holiday weekend here in the States as well, Memorial Day weekend! It's a holiday to remember all of those who have fought for and served our country. It's usually celebrated with BBQs and pool/beach parties, so I'm so looking forward to a relaxing weekend :) Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a great holiday weekend as well!

I cannot believe how lovely this weekend has been! It's almost unheard of right? You offered some lovely suggestions of things to do because lets face it, we can fall into that hole of wanting to do something but unsure of what! I so wish I could be on Brighton beach!
ReplyDeleteMusings & More
I went to Brighton a few years ago and I had a ton of fun! :) It wasn't as warm as it is now, it was pretty cold actually, but it was still sunny and everyone seemed to be in a good mood :) I loved it there
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely inspiration dear! This weekend I didn't have the change to do much, I had stuff to do, but at least the weather was incredibly gorgeous and sunny...that's always a plus. Have a nice Sunday!

Totally love this dreamy list Gabrielle, so many divine places and ideas to give anyone the most magical of bank holiday weekends! Leeds Castle holds lots of memories for my boyf and I and the Grand Medieval Joust sounds so spectacular. Absolutely adore Camber Sands, I just can't get enough of the place! Definitely one of the most exotic beaches we boast here in the UK hehe ;) The beach huts in Whitstable are always a great spot too. Paul's Picnic sounds amazing, I love the idea of a picnic made to order <3

Oh wow what wonderful suggestions Gabrielle!! I'm definitely taking your Gardens and Castles list away with me as I explore more of the UK this summer. It's so easy to neglect our country in favour of travelling further afield but there is so much beauty on our doorstep that it would be a shame not to explore!
ReplyDeleteThis post is actually a brilliant idea. I was racking my brain on Friday for ideas of what to do with my weekend - we ended up going to the Peak District and doing a bit of strolling :)
ReplyDeleteSo many nice places to visit and great things to do! In fact, we have a bank holiday next weekend so we are definitely going to the beach, I need to get a good tan so I am praying and hoping for a nice weather!! Hope you had fun Gabrielle!! x
