UK fashion and travel summer bloggerI can't even tell you how much I'm loving this warmer weather!  It's not surprising really; I'm an August baby and so summer always holds a special place in my heart.  One of the best things about this time of year has to be the opportunity to indulge in tons of pretty, frilly dresses.  Right now?  I'm gravitating towards wrap dresses.  In between a couple of recent staycations (travel diaries coming soon!), I whipped out this perfect deep blue linen wrap-dress, a gorgeous new pair of sunglasses and immersed myself in sunshine and flowers at a picturesque hideaway.  If wrap-dresses have also got your attention this season, read on and check out a ton of other pretty options at the end of this post...

Regardless of how experimental we can all be when it comes to sunglasses, I think deep down we'll always have our 'favourite style'.  Personally, I adore glamorous wide-frames with classic styles that  work with loads of different looks.  With this in mind, the gold metal embellishment down the sides of these Burberry frames has pushed them to the very top of my love-list this summer!

I can confirm it is possible to fall head over heels in love... with a dress.  I've never been able to settle on a favourite colour, but my favourite colour to wear is definitely blue - in every, and any shade.  The striking deep blue colour of this linen wrap dress screams summer, and the frilled hem pretty much tipped me over the edge when it came to clicking 'Add To Bag'!  Yeah, it's safe to say I'm now obsessed with wrap dresses.  They're easy to wear, super flattering and kind of flirty in their own little way.
