Grrr! Now here's a trend we can all get on board with, right? We've been watching it creep into the Insta-sphere and over the past month it's been sliding onto the rails of pretty much every single high street shop and inundating all online luxury retailers. No complaints here. I'm a sucker for animal prints and never more so than when leopard print is involved. Out of all of the prints and patterns to style, it's the most neutral thanks to the caramel and black colour combination - if we're keeping things traditional. Know what that means? It's easy to introduce into your wardrobe, no matter the season! It's sexy, sassy and exudes confidence; it allows no time for being meek and mild. So, from crop tops to flowing midi skirts, and from denim skirts to jumpsuits, I've put together an edit of the best leopard print around right now for you to add to your summer season wardrobe - browse, shop and enjoy!

So, my stance on the trend is pretty obvious, but how about you? Where do you sit on the scale of love-to-hate when it comes to leopard print? Let me know in the comments below!

Up until recently, I hadn't been keen on pairing leopard print with more leopard print. Co-ords were out of the question, for sure. And then this trend hit like a ton of bricks and now I'm walking around in matching leopard print crop top and mini skirt sets. So, I guess a leopard can change its spots! (sorry). Thankfully, there's no rule book that says you also have to embrace the trend in this way though, instead it's a surprisingly inclusive trend that allows you to bring it into your wardrobe in whichever way suits your mood. You can keep it chic by pairing the print with subtle gold jewellery and plain denim, make it sporty by adding a black crew-neck jumper with leopard print leggings, or go all out and show some skin with a co-ord set. Whatever your choice, enjoy it this summer!

Don't worry babygirl, I haven't forgotten about accessories! If covering your body (or uh, at least a small section of it) in full-on leopard print isn't quite your thing, more subtle options include a pair of striking leopard print heels, dainty mules or pointed flats. A few brilliantly subtle ways of bringing the trend into your world also include leopard-print luggage (check out this super luxurious suitcase), leopard print knot hair bands, or even with your toiletries such as this gorgeous Victoria's Secret leopard train case! Alternatively, pick up a cute leopard print crossbody bag; bonus points for gold chain straps and/or any other accessory with added sass. Ooh, now that's a daydream I can embrace...

That is such a cute leopard print top on you, I love the ruffle on the crop with the white jeans, perfect outfit for a warm day :) While I don't have many leopard print pieces in my wardrobe, I do love a printed top and denim combo - frequently worn option here!

I really liked to leopard-print sports bra from net-a-porter but unfortunately it's sold out.😔 Aside from that, I feel like leopard prints are too daring for me. They look fabulous on you, nevertheless.😊

I love how you paired a leopard blouse with those white capri jeans. Lovely necklaces as well! Such a great summer styling! You look fantastic. Beautiful photographs and location.
ReplyDeleteI do agree with you btw. Leopard is one of my fav animal prints. I think it looks great with caramel or neutral tones...and it is easy to style it with black and white. It's probably the easiest animal print to style with neutral tones. Your selection is gorgeous.
Have a great week ahead!

I've definitely noticed that leopard has been back with a bang this summer especially! Interestingly, it seems to be bridging the gap between summer and autumn. I recently picked up a jumpsuit which I never thought would suit me in a million years but it's so flattering!

I love animal prints, I own a dress, shorts and heels in leopard print, I guess it's time to raid my closet haha! I loved how you added white pants to tone down all the quirkiness leopard prints brings and make it more chic!

I'm a sucker for a good leopard print, too! I have so many pieces in the pattern, it's crazy! I think the fact that it's so versatile, as yo've mentioned, is what has me collecting so many pieces. I've yet to add a matching set, as I'm instantly drawn back to the thought of the late 80s, early 90s and it just looked tacky. Now, though, it's being done in a way that's practical, I'll have to give it a try. I love your top, it looks so cute on you and great with the white pants! Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having a great week so far!

Unfortunately I am not fan of leopard print on myself but I like this subtle top on you- so cool summer look. And this place on pictures dear is awesome xx
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it is about this summer, but I'm so drawn towards animal prints this year - snake in particular. Having spotted (excuse the pun) a leopard print shirt whilst shopping last week, it's certainly on my agenda, now even more so! Your styling is so lovely and chic as always, particularly with the simple gold accessories. You make it look effortless!

Very cute look! :)

I love a bit of leopard print! I have to say I’m not a fan of any other animal prints (particularly snake skin and zebra print I don’t like) but like you said, leopard print is basically a neutral because of the colour scheme and it works really well with bank, white, navy and red which are staple colours in my wardrobe. While I’m probably not going to do head to toe leopard, I love an accessory here and there, and I recently picked up a leopard print knit tee and I got a tonne of compliments when I wore it the other day.
ReplyDeletelittlehenrylee.net
Could you believe I have never worn leopard print, ever?? I should probably jump on this trend as I love a good detail of this print, it spices up any outfit! Your top is super cute, I love its peplum shape and it's definitely something I'd wear! :)

This is a great guide to such a popular trend! I've really been loving all the leopard print items I've seen on Instagram this summer but I haven't worn it myself in years. I don't think I could commit to full head to toe of it, but a top or a pair of shoes are great ideas. Also I love your outfit! Leopard print goes so well with white denim x
