So, this will be kept short and sweet. Because let's face it, we're all too busy watching festive films and churning through the tubs of chocolate (Roses or Celebrations?) to focus for longer than a couple of minutes. I've dipped away from my Christmas celebrations for one moment to wish you a very, VERY Merry Christmas. Wherever you are and whoever you're spending it with, I hope you're having a fabulous time. And if not? Well, there's a brand spanking new year just around the corner, calling your name!
It's interesting how our feelings towards the festive season change with every year. My approach to Christmas has grown from it being a welcome distraction and reason to abandon everything in favour of mince pies, to something to be genuinely enjoyed. Something lovely that serves as an addition to the month; a beautiful way to see through the end of the year. A time of year that brings you even closer to your loved ones, and even closer to the chocolate. Because if you were wondering, yes. I'm still very much addicted to chocolate!
I'd love to hear how you'll be spending your Christmas this year? And if you have a moment before diving back into a pool of hot chocolate and festive films, also let me know how your feelings towards Christmas have changed over the years - if at all?!

My feeling towards Christmas do change from year to year, I think that's just necessarily as we change. I have many fond memories of Christmas past, and I hope to have more fond memories in the future. Right now my attitude toward Christmas is a pretty relax one, which I must admit I rather like.
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulously stylish and very very pretty! That tartan blazer is stunning. I love how you paired it with that tulle skirt and those fantastic boots. Such a great Christmas styling! I still haven't decided what I will wear, but I might opt for a bit of tartan, it's a great choice for this time of year.
Merry Christmas lovely!

That is such a fun blazer and I love the pleated skirt with it! :)
ReplyDeleteHope that you had a wonderful Christmas :) It was a busy but fun one here as I hosted it this year for my family. Now we are enjoying some quiet time at home and eating lots of delicious leftovers, and I'm doing a little bit of blog reading after my break from blogging for a few days! I didn't get as much chocolate as I expected, but I'm sure I'll pick more up in the sales when I do venture out to the shops - haha! I am a chocolate lover too!

Hope you've had a lovely Christmas & holiday period! I'm loving having some time off work, it's been really relaxing and I feel like I've balanced it well with getting lots of little things done too. I definitely went through a stage of not enjoying Christmas but it's been quite nice the last few years and I'm slowly coming around to enjoying the festive season again.

What a gorgeous outfit! I absolutely love the edgy twist this outfit has, but done in such a classy and festive way. I also love your perspective of Christmas, I share the same sentiments. I was much more exciting this time around, since Aviah was able to unwrap her own gifts and play with them, she was so excited. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have the most amazing 2019 ahead!
