Okay, so this was hands down one of the best days of this year so far! Earlier this month I was sent by Prezzybox to experience one of their fabulous gift voucher experiences. The best part? It was with Mother's Day in mind, which meant I was able to have my mum by my side to enjoy the activities! First on the agenda was a chocolate-themed afternoon tea at the luxurious Rabot 1745, a Hotel Chocolat restaurant. Afterwards, we headed up The Shard to their viewing platform to witness first hand those incredible cityscape views (and Instagrammable spots!). So, wondering how best to spend Mother's Day this year? I've got you covered with Prezzybox's The View From The Shard with Luxury Afternoon Tea For Two experience!

The View From The Shard with Luxury Afternoon Tea experience from Prezzybox made for such a lovely afternoon out with my mum, as well as a beautifully luxurious way of showing her just how much she means to me! If you're looking for a way to treat your mum this weekend, I would stroooongly suggest heading over to Prezzybox's website and taking a peek at their experience gift vouchers. Happy browsing!

The experience gift voucher allows you to choose both the location of your luxury afternoon tea, as well as the order in which you can enjoy your treats! Fancy observing London from above, before afternoon tea? No problem! Want to spread the two activities out over a couple of weekends? Also no problem! Personally, I wanted us to get our paws on the Hotel Chocolat Rabot 1745 Restaurant chocolate-themed afternoon tea - and ASAP. So, I booked this to take place before taking in the views from The Shard. Mmm, chocolate. Chocolate scones, hot chocolate, chocolate desserts and cocoa beans as soon as you've taken your seat. It's the ideal Mother's Day gift for a cocoa obsessive! The interior design is also an absolute dream; warm, inviting and luxurious all at the same time. If it's a warm(ish) sunny day, head outdoors to their terrace for an equally lovely ambience.
Oh, and the best part? All hot drinks are limitless! I opted for the 70% cocoa hot chocolate and have absolutely zero regrets. I'm a harsh critic when it comes to hot chocolate and yet here I am, declaring it the best hot chocolate I've ever tasted. Also, chocolate scones? Yes please! There's no going back now...

This is something my mum had wanted to do for a very long time and so I was pretty pleased to be the one taking her up to the viewing platform at The Shard! The views were just as beautiful as I'd imagined, and even more so thanks to the sunshine making an appearance. A couple of special features include a bar area complete with a sugary pink ice cream stand, along with a pink and red floral heart installation with the cityscape as a backdrop. It's pretty much the most Instagrammable spot you could possibly find in London to snap a photo of you with your mum! Although I can't share mine here as mama glass of ice is camera shy, though I'm pleased to report she had a smile on her face!
