One Dress, Three Ways | Odd Molly
Wednesday, 27 November 2019
I've said it before and I'll say it again, one of the absolute best things about this time of year is the mass of layering opportunities. Unlike throughout summer when we're looking for as little material to cling to our skin as possible, these chilly days invite us to pile on the layers - and therefore the outfits! Speaking with my content creating hat on right now, it's a godsend with regard to shooting in the same location, without looking as though you're outfit repeating 24/7. But flashing cameras aside, if you're curious and want to experiment, one of the most versatile pieces to start playing around with is a printed midi dress. Armed with a beautiful look from Odd Molly, I caught the train from London and hit the streets of Windsor to see how the My Kind Of Beautiful midi dress transitioned from one look to another, and then another...

Why We Should Embrace Old School Glamour
Thursday, 21 November 2019
So, the word 'glamour' has transformed over the years and become something we may not necessarily want to emulate. However, thanks to brands (particularly well-know beauty names - cough cough Charlotte Tilbury) adopting the term 'old school glamour' over recent years to showcase ultra feminine, bold collections, the word 'glamour' is falling back into the good books. Combine that with a little talk of Marilyn Monroe, a sprinkling of celebrities dressing as old Hollywood stars for Halloween and a splash of some of the best wavy hair tutorials Instagram has ever seen, and you've got a pretty decent argument for embracing old school glamour. You want to go all in? Easy. Triple the size of your hair and flash a cleavage. But what about when you just want to bring elements of the style into your everyday life - without stopping traffic? Hmm....

The Beauty Of A Self-Care Stay | Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Tuesday, 12 November 2019
Did I forget to share this post during the summertime? Perhaps. However, don't let that take away from the message of this travel post - to appreciate a slower break every once in a while. I adore exploring and rushing around new locations as much as the next person, but sometimes a quick weekend dash to instead somewhere restful can be exactly what we need. Somewhere in the middle of the hectic summertime, I hit pause and headed to Bury St Edmunds; a historic market town known for being tranquil and attracting those seeking exactly that - tranquility. When was the last time you scheduled a weekend break to slow down, rather than speed up?

British Heritage Style | Sunglasses Shop Designer Discount Code
Friday, 8 November 2019
Giiiiirl I don't even need to see the word 'heritage' popping up in trend guides for me to whip out the checked blazers each time Autumn comes around. I may live in London now, but this girl grew up in the countryside and so I'll always hold a candle for this preppy, 'where are my bloodhounds?' kind of styling. However, once again one of my favourite ways of adding a touch of glam to an otherwise approachable look, is by accessorising with a fabulous pair of cat eye sunglasses. My latest love? These gorgeous Valentino tortoiseshell sunglasses via Sunglasses Shop. Featuring a flattering fit and subtle logo print to the arm, they've quickly stolen my heart this season. But you know what? There are many other frames vying for the same level attention. Chloé, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co. You name it, Sunglasses Shop supplies it. And the even better news? I have an exclusive 20% off discount code to share with you all, applicable to all brands available across their website! After all, sharing is caring...

Bruges, Belgium | The Chic Girl's Guide
Monday, 4 November 2019
To celebrate my birthday this year, a couple of months ago I headed back to my happy place: Bruges. For those new to my blog and therefore new to my over-enthusiast ramblings about the city, it's been one of my favourite European locations for many years now. I've noticed Bruges popping up more regularly lately over on Instagram thanks to the beautiful colours of the buildings on The Market Square. But, uh, consider me the OG Bruges-obsessive (*insert smirk here*). Aaaanyway, once again I came away longing for more and with both my mind and camera filled with memories. Should you find yourself in the picturesque, historic city anytime soon, consider this blog post your Chic Girl's Guide to navigating your way through those famous cobbled streets...
