The world is split into two right now: those who think now is not the time to be thinking about our skin, and those who are revamping their entire skincare regime. How about you? There's no right or wrong answer. Personally, one or two months into social distancing and needing to spend more time at home, I realised my skin felt and looked less bouncy and fresh. I'm putting this down to not getting out and about as much as usual, although that's just a guess. It, uh, may also be due to the mass of Diet Coke I've been drinking. Either way, my skin was in need of some love. Intense love. Enter Erborian, stage left. I've put three of the popular Korean skincare brand's face masks to the test. The question is: how did they perform?

First up is the Erborian Milk & Peel Mask. Released this year, the mask claims to create a ''new skin'' effect and a brighter complexion in just five minutes. It's formulated with sesame milk, an ingredient known to visibly smooth the skin's surface texture. The first thing to note about the Milk & Peel Mask, is just how gentle it is. The formula is creamy and of all three masks, it has the quickest effect, and definitely contributes towards a brighter complexion. However, I wouldn't describe it as 'transformative'. Therefore, I'd give this mask a 7/10.

My favourite of the three! Erborian's Black Scrub Mask gets the shiny gold trophy out of the three face masks. The exfoliating and purifying mask includes charcoal that helps to refine the skin texture and the formula is a near-transparent black shade. Although the product exfoliates, it's still incredibly gentle on the skin, and after just a couple of uses I was already starting to notice a significant difference to my complexion. Look in this direction if you feel as though you skin has been just plain ol' sad lately. It's like a (beautiful) slap to the cheeks. 10/10.
Psst! Looking past my (ahem) creative interpretation of applying face masks, massage the mask all over your face and leave for a few minutes before rinsing off with warm water.

Introducing (drum roll please)... Erborian's Sleeping BB Mask! It claims to help your skin feel baby soft and velvety. I don't often use sleeping masks, however gave this little gem a go for the sake of comparison! To cut a long story short, I was impressed. In particular, I've found it has helped with the slightly more irritated skin around the nose, calming it down gradually for morning. This mask gets a healthy 8.5/10.
If you only try one - Erborian Black Scrub Mask
If you skip one - Erborian Milk & Peel Mask
I fell in love with the Erborian's Korean Skin Therapy last year and haven't looked back since! Have you ever tried any products from the brand? Let me know in the comments below.

Away From Blue
Honestly, I've never taken better care of my skin than what I'm doing now! Haha I'm so happy I've built up a good routine and I'm gonna do my best to maintain it once things get back to normal. But yeah, my new routine is definitely a result of doing too many hours at home! Xx
