... here we go again! The first time around it was something entirely unknown, but this time we can speak from experience. 'This ain't our first rodeo'. With that in mind, how are you feeling about the UK's looming lockdown this Thursday? Or perhaps you're elsewhere in the world and experiencing similar measures? Either way, I find it helps to talk (or uh, write) about the lockdown as a way of muddling through. There are plenty of things to lament since the news of another lockdown, but this time around I'm trying to focus on ways of approaching it with a more positive mindset. An important reminder, is that it's a way of protecting those around us - and let's face it, that's enough of a reason. However, it's also a pretty wonderful way of appreciating our home and slowing down our pace. But anyway, to kick off Lockdown 2.0, I've curated a little index of my previous lockdown-related posts to help see you through...
Dress - Lucky Charm Dress c/o Odd Molly
Cardigan - Mango | Belt - Louis Vuitton
Bag - Aspinal of London (available in 23 patterns!)
I'd love to hear about the preventative measures taken in your area? Are you also going into another lockdown? Let me know in the comments below!

What a lovely brutal outfit! I really like that coat belted over the little white dress, it's a nice mix of textures! Good luck with your second lockdown! while restrictions have sometimes come back here so far we have only had 1 lockdown in our state which is good! We haven't had any cases for over 50 days now, fingers crossed we stay so lucky!
ReplyDeleteHope that you are having a good day :)

ReplyDeleteI'm feeling so grateful that my state here in the US isn't anticpating another lockdown--at least not for now. Best of luck as you all work through this one <3 Loving this cardigan by the way; it's gorgeous x

The lockdown 2.0 was no surprise, god only knows how long this one will last, I hear a month?. I just feel like we are sheep being herded into no mans land. I love the boho chic vibe here and I love the classic car appreciation.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are doing well and got your personal bits done before the lockdown? Have a great weekend Gabrielle, god knows where we can go now lol : ) x

What a gorgeous outfit! I always find my more feminine style fades away in autumn because I can never find ways to style lacy pieces, but this is a great idea! Will definitely check out your lockdown related posts! xx

If something is necessary, all we can do is accept it. And bad times will pass one day.
ReplyDeleteVery stylish outfit :).
That bag is so cute!! Love your outfit Gabrielle! Currently here in Croatia we are not going into lockdown but everything can chage quite quickly, so I'm appreciating the times I can be outside, respecting all the required meassurements. As you mentioned, there is always something positive that this situation can teach us, and also it's a great opportuinity to recharge batteries.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and healthy!

I live in one of the most tightly restricted areas of the country, and for the longest time, so lockdown 2 isn't really changing much for us.
ReplyDeleteAt least now this whole lockdown isn't something entirely unknown- as you point out it can be a way of protecting those we love.
ReplyDeleteYou look so stunning in that dress. I also like the heeled boots and hat you paired it with. Fabulous coat as well.
If it has to be it has to be. You look very chic by the way
