Canary Wharf Luxury Apartments | 10 George Street x Vertus
Wednesday, 30 December 2020
Oh wow, it's been a long time since I've been able to write up a travel-related post here on A Glass Of Ice! Thankfully, in between lockdowns I was able to pack my suitcase and take a little trip across town to Canary Wharf for a stylish staycation. In collaboration with Canary Wharf PR, I had the pleasure of staying at the shiny new 10 George Street, a residential building owned by Vertus. From beginning to end, this festive stay was one of comfort and ease. If you're looking to move to London, or perhaps simply to a different borough of the city in the near future, read on for a peek inside this coveted address...

Nails Inc Festive Giveaway | Open Worldwide!
Sunday, 20 December 2020
Well, at least we can't accuse 2020 of being inconsistent! It's ended in just the way it started: with a scoop of disappointment. With news of Tier 4 restrictions now coming into play within many regions here in the UK (including London), it's meant many of us won't be able to see our families over Christmas. Of course, I'm disappointed, however instead I thought I'd take the opportunity to spread a little more sparkle at a time when it's needed the most! I've teamed up with the wonderful QVC Beauty to offer one lucky reader of A Glass Of Ice this fabulous prize bundle of Nails Inc treats. The winner will receive eight Nails Inc polishes, a festive Nails Inc 'Sparkle Show Off' duo gift set and metallic glittered pouch - making it the most precious gift, or treat for yourself! How To Add A Luxe Touch To Your Festive Table Setting | Joanna Buchanan
Friday, 11 December 2020
One of the best things about the festive season is the food. There, I said it. Deny it all you like but there's always that little part of our brain that relates this time of year to turkey, boxes of chocolate, Turkish delight and other tasty treats! In celebration of an undying adoration for food, I've styled a festive table setting with a special touch thanks to the tasteful luxury of Joanna Buchanan's home accessories that were kindly sent my way. All those who adore Christmas, please step this way...

3 Reasons You Should Write A Book
Sunday, 6 December 2020
Anyone else ridiculously excited to lounge around over the Christmas holidays and do absolutely nothing? Although, when I say nothing, I mean no working from morning-to-night or knackering ourselves at the gym. I'm not talking about the creative things that bring stars to our eyes and joy to our hearts. That sounded cheesier than I'd intended, but bear with me. This year has forced us into the realm of free time, whether we liked it or not. During this time, I discovered a couple of pursuits that truly brought a smile to my face - one of them being writing a book. Now, I've done this before. I have a couple of completed (admittedly, not great) books stashed in envelopes underneath my bed. But this time has been different, it is being written from a calmer and less rushed place. It's something I intend to continue writing, even through the holidays... no, especially through the holidays. With this happy little project in mind, I thought I'd pose a question to you all. Have you ever considered writing a book?
