Yep, you read that right; we're still in lockdown over here in the UK. Although, the topic of today's blog post is relevant to anyone spending the majority of their time behind screens! More time spent indoors equals more time spent behind the screens of our laptops and photos; both for work and leisure. With this in mind, I've found ways to avoid some adverse effects of spending so much time indoors. While the gyms remain closed, I've set up a mini home gym including spinning bike and light weights to ensure I'm still working out. Similarly, I've looked in the direction of Blue Reflect lenses to avoid straining my eyes while looking at screens! If this is news to you, it's time to learn a little more about how you can protect your eyes - in style, of course...
Digital Protection BlueReflect lenses are recommended for anyone spending a significant amount of time behind the screen. This includes working your day job throughout the day, to late-night scrolling through Instagram from the comfort of your bed! These special type of lenses use a coating to 'help reflect a portion of the blue light emitted by digital devices and artificial light'. Pretty clever, huh? This gorgeous tortoiseshell pair are by Gucci and are available via Glasses Direct. If you're a longterm reader of A Glass Of Ice, you'll know by now that I adore adding a luxe touch to accessories and so these Gucci beauties are a wonderful way of bringing elegance to screen time!

These are amazing glasses on you! I need glasses for closeup work like computer screens or reading, and although they do have some filters and anti glare on them I don't know how effective it is so I have always just installed apps on my phone and computer to reduce the blue screen glow. :)

Your bluelight glasses are so chic! I've been wearing a pair all the time now, too, as I'm working from home (since last March) and find myself in front of a screen so much more!

Wow it's sooo cute! I always want to purchase an eyeglass recently cos aside from the fact that I always read a lot of books in school, online classes are already straining my eyes huhu. Good eye protection is indeed a must nowadays. Thanks for sharing this! <3

I spend so much time behind a screen at work - add onto that pretty much living in front of the TV and/or my phone at home, I can't wait to be able to do normal things again to give my eyes a break!
