First things first, what's my skincare type? I have dry-combination skin with an oily T-zone, seeing hormonal breakouts appear on my chin each month. Dividing these skincare products into two sections, I'll share with you my top three favourites that I believe are truly worth investing in for Spring. These three beauties quickly proved themselves to be worth the hype and worth re-purchasing... a little goes a very, very long way!
PESTLE & MORTAR | VITAMIN C 2 PHASE SERUM
This blend of Vitamin C with natural extracts has been designed to brighten the skin. I started trying Pestle & Mortar's Vitamin C 2 Phase Serum over the festive season at a time when I was always indoors (hello, lockdown) and not eating healthily. With this in mind, the promise of revitalising dull skin sounded ideal. After about a week I noticed my skin was undoubtedly brighter thanks to a slight improvement in discolouration and a definite 'glow'. The only negative is that I ran out of this miracle serum and I'm still stropping about that...
PESTLE & MORTAR | BALANCE FINE MISTING SPRAY
Moving on to another favourite; Pestle & Mortar's Balance Fine Misting Spray! I mean, you're either a facial mist convert or you're just... not. Personally, it feels like a refreshing spritz each morning after washing my face, as well as a gorgeous little pick-me-up throughout the day! However, I know not everyone is convinced. My advice? Give it a go throughout Spring, as it'll serve as a luxurious treat for your skin while the temperature increases. Oh and living in London, I adore how this glass-bottled gem has been designed to help protect against environmental pollution.
PESTLE & MORTAR | HYDRATE LIGHTWEIGHT MOISTURISER
I've saved the best until last... say hello to Pestle & Mortar's Hydrate Lightweight Moisturiser! I've been using this beautifully lightweight moisturiser for the past few months and still haven't needed to purchase just yet. The pump applicator ensures less wastage and bacteria upon application, while this design also guarantees the product remains 'fresh and active'. This week, I've started mixing water-based tanning drops in with this moisturiser each morning (after pumping and moving from the pot's surface) and they're effortlessly mixing thanks to the lightweight formula. I'm smitten and can absolutely recommend this beauty as a way of upgrading your skincare regime in preparation for the new season!
